クラウドデスクトップサービスの「Ghost」が閉鎖

日本ではかなり無名ですが、アメリカではそこそこのユーザ数を集めていたクラウドデスクトップサービス「Ghost」が３／１５でサービス閉鎖するようです。

Regrettably changes in the marketplace mean that it is no longer economical for us to host the Ghost service and we will be closing down the service on or around March 15. We will instead be focusing on licensing or selling our technology to larger companies.

ローンチ当初は、Ajaxを駆使してブラウザデスクトップを実現する手法は目新しくかなり注目していたのですが、、、
